Participating in healthcare reform by advocating for removal of pre-existing conditions

Posted on | June 12, 2009 | No Comments

I became interested in healthcare reform because of the work I do on a daily basis. I think this subject passes by many of us because we either feel that we are political illiterates or participating won’t make a difference anyway. If you’ve ever been caught up in an insurance issue due to a pre-existing condition this will be more familiar to you. If not, a pre-existing condition exclusion means that whatever condition you have, high blood pressure, allergies etc. will be excluded from your medical treatment for a period of time under your health insurance. How can this possibly be good? To learn how to advocate and contact your senators and representatives, visit www.parentingyourparentsradio.com and go to the bottom of the page where you see the NPAF link. Take action today.
